Lappersfort Eviction CallOut...

After 16 months of occupation, the Lappersfort forest has been issued what
may be it's final death sentence. On december 31st 2009, the Brugge court
ruled taht the eviction order passed against the first occupiers of 2002
may still be used to evict us, 8 years later... A representative robot of
Fabricom/GDF Suez stated in the media earlier this week (monday 4th
january) that he was planning to sit down next week with the Burgge pigs
to discuss the eviction. This morning (thursday 7th), 4 pigs destroyed
part of our fence and walked around site, taking photos of the camp. The
psychotic complexities of the  belgian legal system may still be able to
buy us a little time, but we're not counting on it, and with this new
verdcit we are expecting them any day...

Companies such as GDF Suez have been raping and pillaging our earth far
too long, and so far they're getting away with it. With the strong arm of
the "law" and their well programmed army of police puppets and
politicIans, corporations treat our planet as one massive cash crop
filling their pockets with the blood money of capitalism, and leaving
behind a steady trail of dead forests, poisoned rivers, extinct species
and displaced/raped/enslaved humans. All across the planet, humans are
finding ways of resisting the growth of this death trail, defending and
reconnecting with wilderness...

Grown on the ruins of an amunitions factory, the Lappersfort is a symbol
of the re-wilding of nature and the destruction of a civilisation which
offers us nothing but global warfare, fear, and an institutionalised
psychosis of comfort and TV pacifism...

We have built tree defenses, tunnels, towers, lock-ons, barricades, etc.,
and we are ready to resist any attempt to get us out. We need humans
prepared to live outside, to confront the police, and to stick up for nature
in the face of the capitalist death machine!
